KPMG’s Advisory - Business Performance Services (BPS) team helps organizations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their processes and governance to improve performance, mitigate risk, and grow sustainable value. We help them minimize their risk and enhance their performance by identifying and implementing improvement opportunities in three focus areas: financial management, business process effectiveness, and governance & people.
In Vietnam we work with multinational corporations, Vietnamese businesses with foreign investment, state-owned enterprises and development sector organisations in areas such as corporate diagnostic assessments, risk assessments, financial process analysis and design, cash management and supply chain.
Due to unprecedented growth we currently have career opportunities for talented, experienced and career orientated individuals to join our Advisory Services practice’s BPS team in both our Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi offices. We are seeking candidates for Manager and Senior Manager level.
Role & Responsibilities:
lead, manage and deliver in all steps of advisory projects, such as: risk assessments, financial process analysis and redesign, organisation restructuring, management capacity assessments, cash management and/or supply chain reviews
develop relationships with clients and identify business opportunities
assist with scope definition and requirements gathering for client proposal development
manage and direct project team members in the delivery of client projects
continuously keep up to date with thought leadership and develop technical competence in related process improvement or governance areas
Qualifications:
- a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related fields
- project management and/or risk management professional qualifications will be a plus
Knowledge/Experience:
- university degree with a minimum of 6 years work experience in a similar role
- a strong knowledge and skills in one or more of the following: process improvement, governance/organisation re-structuring, financial risk management, and/or financial operations
- a team leader who is proactive and who has a service-oriented mindset
- experience working with senior management in project/scope management, reporting on project status, issue escalation and risk management
- demonstrate a strong understanding of business processes of accounting, sales, distribution and/or manufacturing functions
- analytical and creative thinking
- excellent command of spoken and written English and Vietnamese
- willing to travel as and when required
- preference given to candidates with previous experience in financial services/banking, multinational manufacturing sector or advisory/consulting
- international working experience will be a plus
